You are sure to enjoy the latest release from Tres Pescadores Records, "Trouble and Me" by Rick Shea and Brantley Kearns. Both men are veterans of the LA/Inland Empire/Bakersfield country and folk scene. Rick has appeared with Dave Alvin, Chris Gaffney and many others and helped out on releases by Katy Moffatt, Patty Booker, Phil Tagliere, Christy McWilson and others. Brantley Kearns was with Dwight Yoakum and David Bromberg and has lately been in Dave Alvin's band, The Guilty Men, along with Rick. He is a fiddler and vocalist of the old Carolina style and the combination of his country folk and Rick's more California styled brand are what make "Trouble and Me" a magical release. |
