Live and Then Some was the first release from Tres Pescadores Records. Our original goal was to re-release the band's first recording, The Road to Indio, on CD, as it was previously only available on vinyl and had actually become extremely scarce. Since that recording was actually an EP, we decided to pad it with some live songs recorded at The Swallows Inn in San Juan Capistrano, CA, where Gaffney and company are regulars. We recorded almost 90 songs over the course of a two day recording schedule and, naturally, we couldn't chop out enough to simply pad Road to Indio and wound up turning the project into a two disc set. The result was a typically awesome Cold Hard Facts set that you can dance to in your own living room. Who cares what the neighbors think? |
